Radio Foundry is operated by Glupe Media Group LLC. This policy covers the public website and account portal at radiofoundry.live and app.radiofoundry.live. The current preview collects account and station-workspace information. It also supports opt-in public station pages, domain verification, and operator-controlled audio broadcasting. The studio supports media uploads and live microphone connections during development.
1. Information we collect
- Access requests: the name, email, and station idea you submit, and when you submitted them.
- Accounts: your username, name, email address, securely hashed password, account status, and the date and version of the policies you accepted. We do not store your password in readable form.
- Station workspaces: the station name, description, timezone, owner, domain bindings and DNS verification records, engine requests and status, and creation and update times.
- Broadcast media: uploaded audio files, track metadata, playlists, schedules and running orders are stored for station operation. Live microphone audio is transported to the station engine; on-air microphone audio is included in the public broadcast. The live connection does not automatically create a recording. Off-air microphone audio is not included in the public program output.
- Security and operation: account events such as sign-in and password changes; expiring invitation records; request timestamps, IP addresses, browser information, and request paths in infrastructure logs. Invitation paths are excluded from application access logging on the platform VM; infrastructure operated upstream may have its own logging.
- Correspondence: messages you send to our support, privacy, or abuse addresses.
2. How we use it
We use this information to review requests, create and secure accounts, save station settings, provide support, investigate misuse, maintain the service, and comply with applicable obligations. Access-request information is used to follow up about the preview, not to subscribe you to an unrelated marketing list.
3. Cookies and browser storage
The portal uses essential first-party cookies for sign-in sessions and protection against cross-site request forgery. These are needed for account functionality. Sign-in sessions expire after a maximum of 12 hours and are configured to end when the browser session ends; browser session-restoration settings may affect that behavior. This release does not install advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Fonts, scripts, and design assets are served by Radio Foundry.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Authorized personnel and infrastructure or email providers may process information as needed to operate the service. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate misuse, or carry out a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. When you publish a station page, its name, description, genre, about text and website appear in the directory and on its listener page, including connected domains. Broadcasts are publicly accessible through the streaming relay even when a page is unpublished. Account details remain private. Connection logs and aggregate listener statistics help operate and troubleshoot distribution.
5. Retention
Account and station-workspace data remain while your account is active, unless deletion is requested or otherwise required. Account activity records are removed after 90 days. Access requests are removed after 180 days. Expired invitation records are removed after a further 30 days, and temporary rate-limit records after one day. Platform web logs rotate daily with a 14-day retention setting. Upstream proxy, email, and infrastructure retention may differ. Backup copies, if created, may persist until their normal rotation; information may be retained longer when needed for security, disputes, or legal obligations.
6. Your choices and requests
You can update your profile and station settings in the portal. To request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your information, email privacy@radiofoundry.com from your account address. We may need to verify your identity. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including a right to complain to a privacy regulator. We will assess requests under applicable law.
7. Security and location
We use HTTPS for public access, password hashing, restricted account access, and other technical controls. No system is completely secure. Do not use the preview for confidential recordings, sensitive personal information, or information you cannot afford to lose. Information is processed where we and our infrastructure and email providers operate, which may be outside your country.
8. Adults only
The preview is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this policy as the product changes, including when introducing payments, recording features, or new uses of personal information. Material changes will be communicated through the portal or account email as appropriate. Contact privacy@radiofoundry.com with privacy questions. The operator is Glupe Media Group LLC.
